PEER-HOSTED PLANS · INDIA
Anyone
down?
Post a plan. Nearby people say they're down. A monitored chat opens, the spot gets revealed, and you actually go. No more plans that live and die in a WhatsApp group.

About
Built for actually going,
not just talking about it.
Most plans die in group chats. DownTo exists so the person who wants to play football tonight, or find someone for Sunday coffee, doesn't need eleven friends to already be free. Post it. Strangers nearby who are genuinely down can join, and a monitored chat, not a public address, is what makes that feel safe instead of risky.
We're starting small and personal, with friends and their friends, because a handful of real, good plans between people who show up beats a thin spread of flaky ones. Right now that means an invite-only alpha, be it Bengaluru or Mumbai or Delhi or Kolkata: wherever you are, if you're in, you're in. Every product decision defaults in favor of the people who are usually asked to be the most careful about who they meet, down to letting a host set who a plan is open to before a single request comes in.
Exact spot stays private
You see a general area before you request. The exact address only appears once a host approves you in, inside the group chat.
Verified people, monitored chats
Every account verifies a phone number and a private ID selfie our team can review. Flag any message or profile and it's checked, and our team can pull up any plan's full chat directly, not just what gets reported.
Set who a plan is for
Hosts can mark a plan open to everyone, or preferred for women or men, and it's shown before anyone requests to join.
Questions
Before you download.
Who sees my exact meeting spot?
Nobody, until you're actually in. Guests see a general area on the map before requesting. The exact pin only unlocks once the host approves you, inside the group chat.
Do I have to share my number or socials?
No. Chatting, requesting and coordinating all happen inside the app. If a message starts drifting toward a phone number or handle, we nudge you to keep it in-app.
How are people verified?
Every account verifies a phone number by OTP and submits a private ID selfie. Our safety team can pull it up and review it directly, it's never shown to other users or made public, it exists purely to confirm there's a real person behind the account.
What happens if I report someone?
Our team reviews every report on any message or profile. It's a free safety feature with no exceptions, and hosts can also remove someone from a plan's chat directly.
Is DownTo free?
The app and every safety feature are free. If a host sets a cost for their plan, like splitting an entry fee, that's between the group. DownTo doesn't take a cut.
Can I sign up right now?
DownTo is in an invite-only alpha while we grow city by city. If your number isn't greenlit yet, we'll save it and text you the moment it opens up.
When's iOS coming?
Soon. Android's alpha is live today, iOS is next.
